Karma, Ego and Sins.

K
armas are when you do any work or anything with your right side action. Then the effects of that
accumulate within you as an ego because you think you are doing it. Actually, we don't do anything substantial. What we do is a dead work, like we make a chair out of a dead tree. That's all we do. What work we do is an idea we have that we are doing work .... So this myth works as ego ... We think we are doing this work, that work. And this ego thinks that if you have done bad work or good work, we have to suffer.

You see, a tiger doesn't feel that way.If a tiger has to eat, it must kill. It kills the animal, eats it, finished. It doesn't sit down and sulk, "Oh, God, I shouldn't have done it. I should become vegetarian." It doesn't accumulate any, any, any karmas...

But we human beings do. Why? Because we are closed...They are open. Whatever they do, they are not bothered. But we are bothered about what we do because we think "we do"... The so-called karmas are nothing but sins. In a biblical language, we can call it as sins. And they're all sucked in by this powerful Deity of Christ, awakened within us.
Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi 13 May 1984, Brighton UK.

After Sahaja Yoga, your karmas are finished... It can change your fate and all your aspirations are changed. Then you just want to spread Sahaja Yoga and enjoy the company of Sahaja Yogis.
Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi 27 September 2000

To have ego itself, according to the Western culture, is a very great achievement. When a person starts living with their ego, they look stupid. "Ego is the outcome of stupidity." Ego "makes you float in the air and when it bursts you are down on the Earth...you are completely finished."
Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi 21 March 1997

Joy(喜び)

Thankfullness(感謝)
Thankfullness is the way to Joy....there's no other way -
we get everything, but we never thank... judging type we are -
today is the day of thanking; Thankfullness, if you do not have,
you'll never enjoy what you have... whatever you have got ...
whatever God has given you ... out of His Grace ... out of His compassion ...
out of His love. We do not know how to thank Him. ... you see this is the point...
have we thanked Him .... every moment of our life.
When you thank Him, the waves of Joy will rise within you.
The greatest thing He has given us, is Realization... and the way of Sahaja.
Look into your heart, and humble down...and thank.... every moment -
that is the key to start the Joy, out of every moment ...
every moment has an ocean of Joy in it ...
but to start it, you must thank ... whatever you have got.

今日は感謝するの日です;

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, 1979
The Laughter(笑い)
When you start seeing through the eyes of the Spirit, then you do not feel bad ...
you laugh at yourself, make fun of yourself ... and then you enjoy yourself,
joke with yourself,.. and the whole thing becomes a joke.

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, at London 1980

Learn to laugh at yourself .. that is the best way to enjoy yourself.

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, at Cabella-Italy1997

In laughter ... in all playful things ... lies the truth.

Spirit and Kundalini Awakening(精霊とクンダリニの目覚め)
When your attention goes to the Spirit, joy starts bubbling in your life.
No mental activity can take you there - only by Kundalini Awakening is it
possible.

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, at Delhi 1998

Sensitivity(敏感さ)
So far you see, at human level, one feels only the pains or pressures
on the nerves ... but never the Ananda. But after Realization only,
your nerves start feeling the joy.
しかしAnanda(絶対的な喜び)は感じた事が無い.

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, at Vienna 1985

The Source(源)
Is only possible with innocence, the source of all Joy.

Collectivity in Sahaja Yoga

Importance of Meditating collectively

When you collect together... something happens to you... if you sit at home, and do something ... nothing works out much. Anywhere when there are people sitting together in meditation, Sahaja Yoga itself manifests... because it is a collective phenomena. There is a mathematics about it... and Sahaja Yoga works out after actually there are more than seven people.
on talk about "attention", Bordi

When a person is collective or not collective

... who tries to find fault with someone all the time... who wants to run away, with his wife or with his hudband... and stay somewhere else.. who wants to get out ... is not a person who is collective. You have to be collective...and to be collective means ... at every collective program you should be there... you should always meet collectively... meditate collectively ... and find ways and methods of being collectively.

on Shri Khrisna Puja, Lac Noir

The Meaning of Collectivity

… Collectivity doesn’t mean that we all should be stuck together with some glue or something or we all become like Gibraltar, Rock of Gibraltar. No, it doesn’t mean that. It means wherever you are, you are connected. That is collectivity.

A collective doesn’t mean that you hate that person. No, your connective means you love that person, you’re concerned about that person. The connection, the connecting line is of love and not of hatred. So when you are connected with another person or persons, then you are in collectivity. But people will live together and everyday break each others’ heads. Some of them really give Me headaches, I tell you, sometimes because they are nowhere near the real growth of Sahaja Yoga.

So you may be in America, you may be in India, you may be anywhere. You are just connected. And you are concerned.

As soon as there’s a problem somewhere, into any part, any part, of the world, you are connected and you’re effective, you can manage. But if you are not connected and you are just glued together, it’s very inconvenient to live under such circumstances.

I think people don’t even understand the meaning of collectivity where there’s not the other, ananya (Sanskrit –> no other), where there’s not the other. There’s no other personality. These personalities are separated from you because of left and right or could be both. But you are yourself fully when you’re absolutely detached and your kundalini’s dancing. You’re alone and never alone.

This oneness with the whole gives you all the security that you want, all the joy you want and that’s why Kundalini Awakening means collectivity. Unless and until you want pure collectivity in your being, Kundalini won’t rise. …

on Shri Adi Kundalini Puja, Germany
11 August 1991

Spirit is the Collective Being

I am a lamb and Lord is my Shepherd

Little lamb, who made thee?
Does thou know who made thee,

Gave thee life, and bid thee feed
By the stream and o’er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing, woolly, bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice?

Little lamb, who made thee?

Does thou know who made thee?

Little lamb, I’ll tell thee;
Little lamb, I’ll tell thee:

He is called by thy name,

For He calls Himself a Lamb.
He is meek, and He is mild,
He became a little child.
I a child, and thou a lamb,
We are called by His name.

Little lamb, God bless thee!
Little lamb, God bless thee!
from "Songs of Innocence: The Lamb" - William Blake

The Lord is my shepherd; how can I lack anything?
He gives me a resting-place where there is pasture,
and leads me out by cool waters,
to make me live a new.

As in honour pledged, by sure paths he leads me;
what though I walk with the shadow of death all around me?
Hurt I fear none, while thou art with me;
thy rod, thy crook are my comfort.

What though my enemies trouble me?
Full in their view thou does spread a banquet before me;
richly thou dost anoint my head with oil,
generous the cup that steals away my senses!

All my life thy goodnesss pursues me;
through the long years,
the Lord's house shall be my dwelling-place.
Psalm:23 - Knox's translation

Namaskar

"namaskar" originally comes from sanskrit language, and is derived from three words:

namah + om + kar = namaskar
  • "namah" is actually derived from "na" and "ma". In sanskrit, "na" reflects a simple negation , and "ma" points to ego, referring "I" or "my". Thus, "nama" or "namah" literally means NOT ME or a negation to one's identity or one's ego or arrogance. The meaning "namah" can also be taken as bending, bowing, humbly submitting and becoming silent.
  • "om" is the short form of "AUM", the primordial sound. It is believed that the whole universe/cosmos is generated from one primordial sound or word (see Upanishads from Hiduism and John 1:1 in New Testament).
  • "kar" means "shape/form of" or "manifestation of" . Thus, "omkar" means manifestation of "om", that is the WHOLE universe/cosmos.

“Before typing you just say ‘namaskar’ to that work that you have to do, just like that. And then you start doing the work as if you are not doing it. You are just doing it - typing. You are just typing, that’s all. You’re not doing it. You’re not doing anything. Some people say, ‘Mother, you travel so much.’ I never travel. I’m sitting or I’m walking. Where do I travel? It is the plane that travels. I’m just sitting in the plane. I never travel like a Superman. I am sitting very nicely. Where do I travel? If I Start thinking, ‘I travel very much, I do this work, I do that work, “somebody would say, ‘Mother, you do so much work.’ I mean I don’t do anything. I tell you, really, I don’t do anything.“

About Love (愛について)

Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.
When you love you should not say,
"God is in my heart," but rather, I am in the heart of God."
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love,
if it finds you worthy, directs your course.
Love has no other desire but to fulfil itself.

Kahlil Gibran: "Love" from The Prophet

"Love is Truth and Truth is Love"

Limitation of Thought (「

Let us think for a moment. And we can see that thought is limited.
How big is the Universe? Who has created it? How small are atoms?
And Who has the answer? How can we understand Him who is managing
us all? Can a drop understand the Ocean?
Our conciousness is a bottomless sea. When the thoughts cease is the beginning of the answers. Our thoughts are like the wind which causes ripples on the surface of the sea. Only when the thoughts dry up can we, in Silence, recognize our own depth, just as the sea exposes its real dept when the wind subsides.

Humility

“The basic seeking power is humility… If you think you know
everything, you cannot humble down … and you cannot seek. Even if you
seek, you don’t want to follow anybody else’s path …you’ll do whatever
you want to do.”

“One thing is very important in your humility … you should be a
humble person … not think that you are something special … or some sort
of a self-important person… once you think you are important, then you
are not part and parcel of the whole… If you start thinking like that,
anywhere in your journey of Sahaja Yoga, then I must say that you are
not in the Sahaja Vasta, the Sahaja State.”

“Those who are humble can only become friendly with each other,
can share their problems with each other. So humility can only help you
to articulate, to have rapport with your friends. But humility should
not be sympathetic - it is a detached quality that does not get
attached to any person.”

“Only a person who is not guilty will be really humble, because
guilty people are aggressive … are sarcastic… A humble person is a free
person, free to be humble, to be kindly, to be gentle, to be compassionate
- that sort of Sahaja Yogis you have to be. When people
meet you they will be impressed. Humility doesn’t have any
subservience, and is very different to compassion. Humility is a very
human quality, is a special quality only the bhaktas have. It is such a
beautiful quality of taking the showers of bliss, and a person who
cannot take, is so lonely. Such a person cannot get companionship with anyone.”

Peace(平和)

If there is to be peace in the world,
there must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations,
there must be peace between the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities,
there must be peace between the neighbors.
If there is to be peace between the neighbors,
there must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home,
there must be peace in the hearts.

Self-Realization

"Global unity of mankind can be achieved through this awakening that can occur within each human being, so that transformation takes place within us. By this process a person becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced. One actually gets the experience of the feeling of the all-pervading divine power as cool breeze. "Know thyself" is the main theme of all the scriptures - it becomes evident and one reaches the absolute understanding of oneself.

Thus one becomes peaceful and joyous in life. One becomes collective as a drop falling into the ocean of compassion. This method works for the multitudes and not individually. Of course one cannot pay for the experience of Divine Love. Moreover, it is the last breakthrough of our evolution. This is the actualization of such transformation, which is taking place now, worldwide, and has been proved and experienced by hundreds of thousands in over 85 countries."

Self-Realization is the yoga, the union. The joining of the microcosm to the macrocosm. The linking of that energy with the allprevading energy...
that is what Self-Realization is.

"It is important for everyone to have that knowledge of the roots within ourselves. Sahaja Yoga allows the individual to become his own Spiritual Guide."

"It is everyone's right to achieve this state of ones evolution and everything necessary is already inbuilt. But as I respect your freedom, you have to have the desire to achieve this state, it cannot be forced upon you!"

"Sahaja Yoga is different from other yogas because it begins with Self-Realization"

Enlightened rationality

In our searching, we are asking for the actual experience. In all the scriptures it has been said that we will be born again. We are looking for a second birth, which is within us. All the religions talk about it. We have to stabilize ourselves to get the experience and it will work out. We search with our minds and rationality for the truth. This mind is not connected to the whole. We are not aware of the whole, we have so many problems. Thinking, unenlightened rationalization, and awareness, are different. Rationality has all the time been living with the ego. We can't separate the ego and rationality - neither is perfected nor mature. If we are mature enough to know why there are vibrations in the molecules - through rationality we cannot discover this. We cannot give answers to questions - e.g. Why are we human beings? We take too much for granted. If we try to rationalize everything we'll go mad. Our rationality is not mature enough, it is not enlightened. The "I" within us knows the rationality, but rationality doesn't know the "I". We can't know each other's point of view. Why human beings are made out of an amoeba - through rationalizing and logic?

ここで, 確か二つの道が別れることになりますね...(^_^;;;

Hi, welcome to my weblog.
